How long will it take?

This very much depends on the job specification and we will advise you at the time you place your order. Given we utilise the very latest digital equipment we can turn around jobs in literally a few hours however if your job requires any specialist finishing this will take longer.

What is the best printing process for my job?

We will advise you on the optimum method of printing based on your individual requirements i.e. the quantity required, type of paper (weight/finish)  number of colours, how quickly you require delivery and any specific finishing needs.

What sizes do you print?

We can print any size big or small but the standard sizes are as follows:

  • Business cards 85mm x 55mm
  • A7 –  74mm x 105mm
  • A6 – 148mm x 105mm
  • DL –  210mm x 99mm
  • A5 – 148mm x 210mm
  • A4 –  210mm x 297mm
  • A3 – 297mm x 420mm
  • A2 – 420mm x 594mm
  • A1 – 594mm x 841mm
  • A0 – 841mm x 1189mm

What are crop marks and bleed?

Bleed: Bleed is a very important element that must be taken into consideration when creating any printed piece. Bleed refers to any artwork where colour is going to the edge of the page.You must provide additional colour or image outside the cut area. When items are cut down, they are in stacks from 100 to around 1000 depending on if it is Business cards or Letterheads etc. This is done to ensure that there is no white paper showing around the edge of a printed piece, we would also advise text and borders etc. be around 3mm away from the edge of the printed piece.

Crop Marks: Crop marks refer to little lines that show the person cutting down each sheet where to cut.

Do you deliver?

Yes, nationwide everyday! We deliver free of charge to Salford, Salford Quays and Central Manchester. Outside of these areas, there may be a small delivery charge, depending on the size and weight of the delivery. Please ask at the time of placing your order.

Costs for direct mail (postage) are quoted at the time of your estimate.

Do you have a price list?

Price combinations across our various print and design service options are so diverse that we prefer to quote per each individual job. We would normally respond by return for simple enquiries, more complex projects may take a little longer.

Will my print colours be the same as I see on my computer screen?

No. This is because the image you see on your screen is made up of RGB colours and your screen is in effect a big lightbulb, so what you see is called ˜additive colour. As paper cannot be illuminated, the ink colours do not have the benefit of enhancement by light, thus making them brighter (commonly referred to as subtractive colour). We do however calibrate our printers to ensure the best colour range possible. Many cameras also show a colour cast i.e. slightly yellow, or blue for instance. If this is very obvious we will adjust your image before printing. If in doubt we recommend you order a proof. If you do not order a proof you will be agreeing to accept any final prints unchecked.
